KoB Points rules

KoB Points record your purchase history and selected engagement with Kind of Blu. They are not cash discounts or coupon credit, and cannot be applied directly to ordinary product prices. KoB Points are mainly used to secure purchase slots for limited models, or as one reference point for invitations to special product releases.

How points are earned

After an ordinary eligible purchase is completed, KoB Points are earned from the eligible product amount in the order. The current rate is 1 KoB Point per 100 JPY of product amount.

Kind of Blu Bespoke Models are generally excluded from ordinary KoB Points earning. If a specific Bespoke Model earns KoB Points, this will be stated on the product page or release notice; otherwise, it should be treated as excluded.

KoB Points may also be granted through specific announced activities, such as selected Collector Gallery photography or other clearly stated programs.

Purchase slots and KoB Points

Some limited models are not sold through open checkout. Instead, KoB offers purchase slots individually. This is not a first-come, first-served process; KoB reviews the models collectors already hold and uses that information to determine purchase-slot allocation.

For each new limited model, KoB will announce in advance which owned models may be submitted for review. Eligible submissions may include models with related colorways, the same vehicle model, the same series or theme, or a clear concept connection to the new release. These are not limited to Kind of Blu Bespoke Models; non-limited models may also be included.

Collectors who hold the specified models will be asked to submit them through photos or other requested proof. KoB reviews each submission and sets each collector's Collection Rank based on the number of submitted models that can be verified.

In a purchase-slot release, collectors who receive a slot purchase by using the specified number of KoB Points. The exact points requirement is announced after the submission period, once KoB has verified the submitted models and assigned Collection Ranks. The more submitted models KoB can verify, the higher the Collection Rank, and the fewer KoB Points are required at purchase.

KoB Points do not determine Collection Rank. A higher points balance does not automatically mean a higher rank. After Collection Ranks and points requirements are announced, collectors decide based on their current KoB Points balance and whether they wish to spend points for that release. KoB Points are not deducted automatically before the collector chooses to confirm the purchase slot.

Important notes

  • KoB Points are used only in processes announced by KoB and do not represent cash value.
  • Ownership verification applies only to models relevant to that specific release and does not automatically apply to all future releases.
  • Passing ownership verification does not guarantee a purchase slot. Final purchase-slot allocation depends on verification results, Collection Rank, available KoB Points, and whether the collector chooses to spend the required points.
  • KoB Points are deducted only after the purchase slot is confirmed and payment is completed.
